VENINI - Euroluce 2025 - Gabriella Ruggieri & partners

VENINI was one of the undisputed stars of Milan Design Week 2025, presenting the “Light In Art” installation at Euroluce (Salone del Mobile) and in its elegant boutique at Via Montenapoleone 10. This immersive project, in which light becomes art and glass transforms into poetry, features masters of design such as Arnaldo Pomodoro, Peter Marino, Michele De Lucchi, Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas, and Alessandro Mendini.

Allow us to add one thing, Venini is Venini...

Venini is the History, Venini is over 100 years of art in blown glass and Venini is a brand you are going to visit regardless.

I hope you like the photos in the photo gallery, but they don't even remotely make the emotion it feels to be with them in person.

VENINI (“Parallelo” by Peter Marino)

Designer:
Peter Marino was born in New York in August of 1949. After his studies in painting, sculpture, and art history, he obtained a degree in Architecture, Art and Planning at Cornell University College of Architecture and founded his own architectural firm in New York in 1978.
Marino is considered to be the architect by excellence of luxury brands and has received countless awards for residential and retail projects, as well as for his design of cultural and public spaces all over the world. In addition to being known for having inserted more than 300 contemporary works of art in his architectural projects, as an artist he also owns a unique collection of modern art.
His exceptional artistic vision has led him to create a number of unique works, including a limited collection of bronze boxes.
Peter Marino’s work is notoriously provocative.
The Rotondo, Cilindro, and Parallelo lamps are no exception: using the “Fasce” technique, the artist hot-works coloured strips wrapped around the geometric volumes of CRYSTAL glass, creating luminous vortices of dramatic beauty.
A striking contrast is thus obtained between the transparency of the CRYSTAL and the weight of the material.

VENINI (“FRAKKI” by Michele De Lucchi

Frakki is the new collection of modular lights designed by architect Michele De Lucchi for VENINI. This project combines the architect’s distinctive creative language with Murano’s artisanal mastery, resulting in a lighting system that reinterprets the concept of modularity through glass shingles. Crafted using the glass plate technique and available in two variants – one narrower and one wider – the glass tiles feature a three-dimensional diamond texture that refracts light, creating vibrant plays of reflection. The modular structure offers endless configuration possibilities, adapting to various scenarios: from dramatic cluster suspensions to floor and table lamps. The collection, available in a limited edition, strikes a perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality.

VENINI (“Stele I” by Arnaldo Pomodoro)

Lampada-Stele is the result of the encounter between the artistic vision of Arnaldo Pomodoro and the craftsmanship of VENINI. Inspired by the columns of ancient civilizations, these lamps rise like contemporary totems, symbols of balance and beauty. Designed by Pomodoro in 2002, this previously unreleased collection had not been realized until today due to its great complexity. Stele I, the first of the three luminous stele, is available in both floor and table versions, in a limited edition, making them authentic collector’s items. Crafted in sculpted bronze and sandblasted glass, these creations radiate a vibrant and enveloping light. More than simple lamps, they represent timeless works of art that move and inspire.
