Do you remember the reality show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition"?

That's where my passion and amazement for children's and teen bedrooms began, watching the wonders Paul DiMeo created.

Back then, I'm not saying children's bedrooms were boring, but let's just say that much more attention was given to furnishing accessories (pictures, blankets, sheets, paint on the walls, or even strategically placed toys) than to actual works of art and imagination in the form of furniture, and specifically, beds.

When I was little, thinking about a bed shaped like a car or a big bear was pure science fiction.

So, I had to stop by CILEK's stand at the Salone del Mobile and, of course, take some photos of their wonders.

The Fluffy Friends collection enhances these concepts through its characters Teddy, Bunny, Panda and Leo transforming spaces into warm, inviting worlds and creating an emotional dimension that brings together the child’s curious and creative perspective with the parents’ desire for reliability. 

The Teddy Bear Bed, the first element of the Fluffy Friendscollection, was created to support children through a key stage of their development: the transition from sleeping with their parents to their first personal bed. With its soft forms and reassuring presence, it transforms the room from a creative play space during the day into a peaceful refuge at night. The side rails, shaped like the embracing arms of a teddy bear, act as a natural protective barrier.
